Top Three KRY Songs

I know that a lot of people complain about KRY getting too many lines in songs, or dominating albums. To that, I will say, so what? It's totally well-deserved; they sing superbly. Other members dominate on the dancefloor (Eunhyuk, Donghae, Shindong) in variety (Leeteuk, Heenim, Kangin, Shindong) in acting/commercials (Siwon, Kibum, Heenim) and in musicals (Sungmin, Yesung). All KRY has is their singing, really. That's their forte, their comfort zone, their expertise. It's what they do best, and because they sing so amazingly, they're able to make up for the members who aren't amazing at it. They're the backbone of SJ, too, since they're first and foremost a singing group. I love listening to their songs as well; they're awesome lullabies 8D I don't mean that as a bad thing at all! I just mean that their voices are calming, soothing and just easy listening in general. Without further ado, here are my Top 3 KRY songs!

3. Nal Geyman Ijuhyo

I am in love with this song. The musical arrangement is seamless, and Kyuhyun, Yesung and Ryeowook blend extremely well in the amazing bridge. Their voices just overlapped together in the end and geared up together for the heartwrenching finale. The melody itself is so WOW that even a bad singer can look good singing it... so what more 3 talented ones?

2. Heartquake (Live ver. feat. Eunhyuk)

Alright so technically, it's not a KRY song. Intense is the only word to describe this song. I love how there's a calm before the storm... Eunhyuk raps in between and it's a balance from the emotional chorus, and bridge. That's not to say the raps are anything short of intense; In fact, I love the live version because there's just more emotion than in the recorded one. But the one thing I love most about this song is that everyone singing it FEELS it. There's so much raw emotion in each word and line... it's a gripping song, one that I never get tired of listening to.

1. Let's Not

I picked the one in ShimShimtapa because although it's imperfect, it has the most emotion. This, for me, is the most explosive and heartwrenching (I described Nal Geuman Ijuhyo as this, but Let's Not applies, too) KRY song, ever. The first time I heard it, I cried. From the violins and guitar in the beginning, to the piano giving way to Kyuhyun's cold and quiet voice, to Ryeowook's voice building up the chorus, to Yesung's emotional vocal performance -it's perfect. Just perfect. Without knowing the words, you'll know right off the bat that the song is about someone's heart breaking. And listening to it, it's like falling in love, then getting your heart broken, then falling in love all over again in the ending. It's an emotional experience that I think most people can relate to, and KRY was able to relay it with their AMAZING singing.

I guess what I love most about their songs is that they tell a story. In the beginning, it's quiet and relaxed, then the rising action comes in the refrain to the chorus. Then it builds up to the bridge, for the spectacular climax, and to the resolution. There's a flow, and it usually gives me goosebumps every time.
